Sharon Tipton - Business Assistance Representative

Sharon is presently working as the Business Assistance Representative for the Employers Assistance Project, which is administered by the Grays Harbor Chamber of Commerce.

She has 20 years experience working as a staff representative at state, regional, and community meetings.  Locally serving on the Work-First Consortium and Business Relations Team.

For seven years, she has worked with dislocated workers, the low-income population and the hard-to-serve.  Interpreting and understanding the policies and regulations relating to the placement of these clients with businesses and community, and she has mentored 39 of this client population in the past 10 years.

She has more than 10 years experience preparing and monitoring budgeting activities in a variety of settings.

For the past 13 years, Sharon has worked for the Economic Development Council, Grays Harbor Career Transition Center and now for the Employers Assistance Project. 

Sharon is trained in facilitating and arbitrating diverse groups of people and has experience in the practice of these skills.

She is a graduate of the Leadership Grays Harbor class of 2000.
