North Beaches - The communities of Ocean City, Copalis Beach, Seabrook, Pacific Beach, Moclips, and Taholah

The combination of charm and beauty is all around as you head through the picturesque North Beach communities outside of Ocean Shores.  Uncrowded beaches offer the best in beach-combing, fishing, clamming, surfing, kite flying, biking and hiking.  The shoreline begins to change as the highway winds its way north through coastal foest groves with numerous glimpses of the ocean and beaches.  A number of coastal rivers and streams enter the ocean along this stretch, some winding through grassy tidelands dotted with driftwood and some cutting through the scenic hills and cliffs.

Ocean City, Copalis Beach, Pacific Beach, Moclips and Taholah all offer a special warmth and quaintness little changed over the years.  The well kept family motels and cottages, camp-grounds and RV parks take you back to a quieter, less hectic era.  You may check out the rich history of the North Beach area when you come to visit by stopping by the museum.  You can preview the museum by going to the Moclips-By-The-Sea Historical Society & Museum of the North Beach page.  These richly beautiful and scenic communities are nestled in protected coves and along river mouths and miles of beautiful beaches.  Pacific Beach State Park offers 2,300 feet of shoreline in a beautiful setting offering extensive camping and RV facilities.

The Pacific Beach Webpage provides you information and updates on events in the Pacific Beach area in a fun way!  Be sure to click on the link above to check it out!

The beaches along the route to the Quinault Indian Tribal Center in Taholah offer some spectacular views of sea stacks, rocky shores and dunes, a preview of the National Park shoreline to the north.  A pass to explore the beaches is available for visitors at the Tribal offices.  Fresh and tasty salmon can be purchased at the Fishhouse in Taholah near the mouth of the Quinault River.

Treat yourself to the natural scenic surroundings, friendly people and a special expreience for you and your family along Grays Harbor County's North Beaches.
