Congratulations to Carquest
Business of the Month for July 2016
July 2016 - CARQUEST, formerly a Baileys, then Spoons Auto Parts, became what is now CARQUEST in the late 90’s. They offer auto parts and have a machine shop that has been servicing customers for over 90 years in the Harbor. Their customers span from the logging to the maritime industry and their parts meet various needs throughout the region. Tom Thayer, their very talented machinist, was working hard in the shop the day the Ambassador team stopped by to present the Business of the Month award. CARQUEST believes in investing in its community.
Locally, the Aberdeen branch and staff have served various causes and organizations. This past year, they supported local schools and sports.
When asked why Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. is important to their business, branch manager Phil Riggs states “Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. is a great way to stay up to date on things happening in the Harbor.”
The Business of the Month is based on excellence in image, employee relations, community services, support of Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. and customer service. Only 12 of these prestigious awards are presented each year.
