November 2014 Business of the Month — Journey Travel
Greater Grays Harbor is pleased to announce Journey Travel as our Business of the Month for November, 2014.
Journey Travel has been operating under its present ownership for 11 years, but has been in Grays Harbor since 1947. They received this award about 15 years ago.
In the last year, Journey travel has supported the local schools, the Salvation Army, Food Ball, youth sports, food and clothing banks, relay for life, American Cancer Society, Grays Harbor College Foundation and Grays Harbor Hospital Foundation.
Employees of Journey Travel are members of the Lions and the Moose Lodge.
“Journey Travel truly cares about its community, and it shows in all of the great non-profit organizations and fundraisers they support throughout the year,” said Ambassador Angie West.
When asked why Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. is important to her business, owner Jenee Bearden said, “The networking opportunities with other business owners and involvement with the community help my business succeed.”
The Business of the Month is based on excellence in image, employee relations, community service, support of Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. and customer service. Only 12 of these prestigious awards are presented each year.
