Connecting With A New Market
On a beautiful summer day in Aberdeen, Greater Grays Harbor Energy launched its first ever networking event for professionals working in the field of energy efficiency and green building. This event comes on the heels of a successful four part training series for REALTORs entitled “Unlocking High Performance Home Sales”. High performance homes are those built with long-term home owner comfort, safety, and budget in mind. They are typically fitted with high efficiency features like heat pumps, full levels of insulation, heat recovery ventilators, etc. These types of homes stay on the market fewer days, do not cost a lot to build, or renovate, and are highly sought (yes, even in Grays Harbor) which is a major selling point for Title Brokers.
For this event we invited contractors, consultants, advisors from our local utilities (Grays Harbor PUD and Cascade Natural Gas), lenders, and a host of others to come share their expertise (and gain some in return) with our REALTORs over a GGH, Inc. sponsored breakfast.
GGH Energy created this event to breakdown silos between companies/agencies, and provide a direct pathway to parallel industries that are working towards the same end goal, but perhaps at different ends. “SEEC is committed to working with strategic partners to assist one community at a time to transform their built environment for a resilient future.
