In addition to our monthly Business After Hours and Business Lunch Forums (see our Events Calendar for more information) we host four signature events each year. We hope you’ll consider joining us at our next signature event!

Legislative Send-Off

The Legislative Send-Off is one of Greater Grays Harbor, Inc.’s (GGHI) most well-attended events as it gives the Grays Harbor community a unique opportunity to hear from local Legislators. Several local legislators share their perspectives on current issues, present their goals for the upcoming session, and answer questions from the audience. This event takes place at the beginning of January.

Lunch with the Mayors

This event follows the same format as our Legislative Sendoff while featuring the Mayors of our Grays Harbor cities. Each mayor will provide updates from their respective community as well as discuss their upcoming priorities for the year, followed by audience Q&A. Generally, this event takes place each March.

Showcase Grays Harbor

This exciting day-long event was first launched in 2000 and was created to offer residents a behind-the-scenes look at various businesses and sites throughout the County that are otherwise inaccessible to community members. Each year we visit a different region of Grays Harbor and in 2025, over 100 participants toured the North Beach visiting the Coastal Interpretive Center, Oyhut Bay Seaside Resort, Seabrook Washington, and Lytle Seafoods.

State of Grays Harbor

At this event, we present the findings from our annual Grays Harbor Economic Vitality Index – a report showing trend data and highlights of key economic sectors and activity within Grays Harbor County. In addition, each year we have one or more guest speakers to dive deep into a specific industry sector.

Leader’s Banquet & Business Recognition Awards

This annual event celebrates business success in Grays Harbor, raises funds for our organization, and brings the community together to congratulate each other’s achievements from the past year as we unveil the Business Recognition Award recipients.

How are the award winners chosen?

A few months before the Leader’s Banquet, GGHI opens a survey for all community members to submit their county-wide nominations for businesses and organizations to take home Large Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, New Business of the Year, Government/Municipality of the Year, and Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. Member of the Year. After GGHI receives the nominations, we then verify that they are members of GGHI and reach out to them if they are not in case they would like to join to be included on the final ballot. After verifying their membership status, GGHI then compiles all eligible nominees into a final survey that’s distributed to the GGHI membership. The top four nominees are then recognized at the Leader’s Banquet before the unveiling of the winners!

The 2025 award recipients include: Large Business of the Year; Spivey Realty Group, Small Business of the Year;  Casa Mia Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria, Non-Profit of the Year; North Beach PAWS, New Business of the Year; The Music Project, Government/Municipality of the Year; Grays Harbor College, GGHI Member of the Year; Summit Pacific Medical Center, and GGHI Ambassador of the Year; Betsy Seidel. Congratulations!
